Paystack, an African fintech, scaled from 50 to 300+ employees in one year after being acquired by Stripe for $200M (Nigeria’s largest tech acquisition). Leaders, many newly promoted, faced challenges managing larger, more complex teams across multiple locations in a fast-paced, remote environment. Technically strong leaders needed to rapidly develop people leadership skills to navigate team growth and collaboration.
